Hydrocolloid HYDROprim, COMFOprim

Hydrocolloid material of which HYDROprim dressings are produced is made on a natural basis. PH value of breathable hydrocolloid is close to the pH level of healthy skin that relieves pain and irritation. The polysaccharide constituent dressings absorb liquid, forming a gel and maintaining a skin surface lightly hydrated. The circumstances incent natural regenerative processes of the skin and accelerate healing. Thanks to amortization, pressure on the damaged skin is reduced. Hydrocolloid dressings decrease probability of scar tissue formation.

DELICATEprim Mix – Polymeric hydrogel and glycerol based transparent and elastic dressing. Polymeric hydrogel is a new biomaterial consisting of 60% of water matching alginate in absorption properties and having high osmotic effect. Owing to its hydrophilic character, biocompatibility, mechanical and elastic properties, which are close to the properties of living tissues and many other unique characteristics, the material can justly be called “second skin”. Glycerol within DELICATEprim Mix reduces inflammation, relieves pain and has an antimicrobial effect. The hydrogel provides cushioning when walking. Polyurethane layer protects against bacterial and viral infections.

How often should the dressing DELICATEprim Mix be changed?
- In the absence of signs of wound infection, the dressing can be adhered to the skin for several days. In case of considerable exudation of fluid from the wound, the dressing will be peeled off and should be changed.
