BANDprim
BANDprim is a fast setting plaster of Paris based mass, spread on a 100% bleached cotton gauze. The bandage is wound on a plastic core. It used for conservative treatment in traumatology and orthopedy.
Advantages
- Very short immersion time (3-4 seconds)
- Setting time: 3-4 minutes
- Low plaster loss: 0.1-0.4 g pro linear meter
while dry, 1-4% while wet
- Low exothermic reaction
- Excellent moulding ability
- When completely hardened have high
strength at low bandage consumption.
Indications for use
- Immobilization of all types of fractures.
Duration of use
- Few days to a long period depending on indication.
Cautions when applying
- Exotherm: Plaster of Paris generates heat during setting reaction which can be felt by the patient.

- 100% bleached cotton, calcium sulfate, binders

UNDERprim
Synthetic orthopedic padding.

- Due to excellent conformability allows even coverage and a smooth finish
- Provides cushioned protection of the injured limb

Indications for use
- Suitable under traditional plaster of Paris casts and all types of synthetic casts in the treatment of fractures or orthopedic conditions. Also suitable for use with splinting material or other situations where padding is required.

- Few days to a long period depending on indication.
